The Coming Economic Collapse:  A Biblical Perspective.
Face the Future with Faith, Not Fear.

Sponsored by the Simi Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church, in conjunction with the Church State Council.

The Covid-19 pandemic has hit America like a runaway freight train. Almost overnight, the economy ground to a halt: travel, tourism, restaurants, churches – closed. Millions lost their jobs in weeks.  Talk of an apocalypse spread to the most unlikely of sources, like the New York Times. People began to ask: Is this the end? It’s time for a serious look at Bible prophecy. Whether you are religious or not, this series will introduce you to key concepts to guide you through coming hard times.

Apocalypse Soon?

The Bible sets forth a clear picture of a future economic collapse, unlike anything we’ve ever seen. Will the current economic distress lead to the final collapse? The question is not whether, but when. Find out what the Bible says.

A Covid Collapse?

Jesus spoke of famines, pestilences and earthquakes before His return. Is the pandemic one of those pestilences? Is it a sign of the end?

June 4th – 7:30 p.m. Part Three
The Crisis Before the Collapse.

The Bible speaks of a crisis that results in civilization imploding. Is Covid-19 one of those factors? And if not, what is? Likely, you’ve heard of “Armageddon” and “The Mark of the Beast.” But beyond their popularity in pop culture, do you really know anything about them? Tune in and find out.

June 7th – 7:30 p.m. Part Four
The Crisis Before the Collapse, continued

Is the “mark of the beast” a computer chip? Will we be tricked into receiving it through a vaccine for Covid 19? Or is there a spiritual dimension to this that we really need to understand? [Spoiler alert: Yes, it is intensely spiritual, and critical to understand.]

June 9th – 7:30 p.m. Conclusion
A Shelter from the Storm
Bob Dylan wrote a haunting song by this title. One of the all-time favorite Rolling Stones hits is “Gimme Shelter.” And another old favorite: “Can’t Find My Way Home.” There’s something about the imagery of shelter, of home. Shelter provides security, comfort, peace of mind. Where DO we find shelter in the storm? The Bible will be our source for both asking and answering this question.
Alan J. Reinach, Esq. serves as Executive Director and General Counsel of the Church State Council. He is both a minister and a lawyer. In his law practice, Reinach represents workers suffering religious discrimination. He also hosts the weekly internationally syndicated radio show, Freedom’s Ring, focusing on religious freedom issues. Reinach is the first in three generations to leave Wall Street. His grandfather, Udo Reinach, was known as the “baron” on Wall Street. He fled New York for Europe in the summer of 1929 to avoid the stock market collapse he warned was coming. With this series, the younger Reinach carries on Udo’s legacy, continuing to warn about a future economic collapse, but providing urgently needed understanding so you can “face the future with faith, not fear.”
