Celebrate Recovery

Yolanda Hernandez, a member of the Thousand Oaks Seventh-day Adventist Church, has initiated a ministry to assist those who struggle with addictions (of every kind). Using the 12-step "Celebrate Recovery" program, she and the others meet once a week to face and conquer their "mountains." Because she has struggled with addictions in the past, she has a passion to help those who need recovery, but also believes that everyone can benefit from the program.
The purpose of the "Celebrate Recovery" is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through God's Word and the "Eight Recovery Principles." This experience allows participants to "be changed," as they sharing their experiences, strengths and hopes with one another.
Anyone is welcome to attend. The group meets on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 pm at 480 Gainsborough Road, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360. For more information call Yoli at (805) 443-9545 or (805) 384-0591.
