SpiritFlash Videos
* Mission Projects * Outreach Evangelism * Pastor to Pastor * Spiritual Nurture * Unique Ministries * Personal Stories Ideally, videos should be 5 minutes or less and should focus on a particular story or theme. When making your video keep these general guidelines in mind: 1. Make sure the lighting and audio is adequate. If you cannot see your subject very well, or cannot hear what's being said without great difficulty, you may as well trash what you have. 2. Be careful not to use music or audio sounds that are copyrighted. This means you should be careful not to use music from commercially produced CDs or DVDs. If there is a question, error on the side of caution. 3. When video taping children, always let their parents know what you are doing and why. Ask their permission (If possible, have them sign a model release). 4. Don't speak unfavorably of other denominations or organizations. Negative videos may be construed as slander and really aren't productive in the long run. 5. Don't share specific names or locations of other people without their permission. In most cases it is not needed anyway. 6. Make your report or story as specific as possible—this makes it more interesting. If it's a story about your conversion, touch on more or two of the following: (1) A dramatic encounter (2) A spiritual awakening (3) An emotional healing (4) A personal discovery Make sure your videos files are compatible with SpiritFlash's YouTube channel.
