Charlie McKelvey
Charlie McKelvey and a group of church members and community friends from Sonora, CA., have been providing hot meals (one Sunday each month) for the residents of Tuolumne City for over five years. McKelvey, a member of the Sonora Seventh-day Adventist Church is glad for the opportunity to share some tangible love with people who are in need.

Each Sunday they host the meal, the group prepares the Tuolumne City Memorial Hall for a breakfast banquet that is open to anyone who wishes to come--no questions asked. Some who come do not appear to be as needy as others, but that's ok. It has become a community affair that 200 + people take advantage of.

Recently the endeavor has grown as more area churches have become involved. It is a great way for Christians from all walks of life to help people in need.
